Our founder
Halo isn't the product of a business plan. It's the product of more than 30 years lived inside healthcare at every level. Carmen Fernandez sharpened her judgment and resilience on the front lines, from the high-stakes pressure of the Emergency Room to the deeply compassionate work of Oncology, before stepping into leadership across major healthcare corporations and premier staffing firms. The result is a rare, 360-degree view: the realities at the bedside, and the operations behind them.
She paired that frontline wisdom with a Bachelor's in Healthcare Management and an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Strategy, then built a portfolio of companies, including a WBENC-certified, woman-owned staffing agency and a premier home care agency she has grown internationally into Puerto Rico.
